After several "sophisticated and targeted" cyber attacks too Google Gmail using the flaws of the Internet Explorer 6 (IE 6), Google phases out customer support for the said browser.
IE 6 is said to be the weakest link to the numerous cyber attacks, which said to be originated from China, where Gmails of several Chinese human rights activists have been hacked. In line with this, Google threatened to withdraw from the Chinese market due to these reported cyber attacks.
