Finally, Sony Ericsson has launched a 3G phone, the new, K600i that is enabled to perform a multimedia streaming device much better than the standard 2G mobile handset.

SE K600i

This sleek handset measures 104.3 x 45 x 18.9 mm, has a 176 x 220 pixel 1.8" LCD screen, which is capable of displaying 262k colors, at the back, the K600i has a built-in 1.3 mega pixel camera. What’s good with this new gadget is that it supports GSM 900, 1800 and 1900 but handy, unlike other bulky 3G phones that we’ve come to encounter in the market today.

One major disadvantage of having this phone is that its internal memory is only 37Mb and has no memory stick, so files saved will be too limited. On the other hand, what it does to compensate for this limitation is that they focus more on 3G streaming video rather than recording video clips, as well as allows video calling.

Bluetooth is also available on this handset for connectivity. The battery can last up to 7.5 hours with 12 days and up to 2 hours talk time.
